model - Maria, photographer - Lora Slavova for N8•moleculeThe purpose of beauty photoshoots is to show the inner and outer beauty of the model, their energy and appearance. This means that the model should work mainly with their face expression and eyes as a means of transmitting the leading emotion of the shot. Another trick is to move your shoulders, hands and fingers whilst posing in order to create an elegant look that will accentuate your face. All movements and expressions should look as natural as possible instead of stiff.

This is mainly done for commercial editorial campaigns. It must be noted that the fashion industry is incredibly flexible and versatile and there can be two types of photoshoots in one engagement. For instance, if you are shooting for a famous cosmetics brand then this is a commercial campaign and a beauty photo session.

Model - Elena for Lash VegasFor the most part editorial photoshoots are paid and will enhance the portfolio and work experience of the model. We can conclude that if a model hired for this kind of photoshoot they are considered a working model or one with a promising future in the industry.
