The very first thoughts, regarding the fashion industry, spring up in a person's imagination in the form of dreams when they are still children. Many little girls and boys often exclaim: “I will become a supermodel when I grow up!” as they strike a pose on an imaginary runway in their living room. 
I remember that when I was little I used to watch ads on TV. I admired them because I believed that one day I would be in one too. Back then my idea of modelling was unrealistic and I did not know exactly how I would manage to become part of this profession. However, in time, everything fell exactly into place of its own accord. This all happened only because I never stopped dreaming and working hard in order to achieve my goals.
This is the reason why the modelling profession has always been and is still linked to the word “dream”, followed closely by “hard work”. A dream can change with the passing of time and become a variation of the original but it will always remain in the same field of work - modelling, art, etc. It is important to note that all fields of work are somehow linked. An example of this is the fact that fashion and modelling are a graceful and unconventional form of art. 
Once we reach the period in our life when we are ready to fulfill our dream, we start supporting our wishes with reasons why we want them to become a reality. Some of the most common reasons for models to start their careers are:
- They love fashion and make up and have a good sense of personal style.
- They like to appear on social media.
- They like attention, especially when they receive a lot of likes on social media.
- They want to travel and explore global fashion.
- They want to meet famous people from all around the world.
- They want to improve their self-esteem.
Although these reasons are entirely valid, they remain reasons and not actions. Keep in mind that the world of modelling looks easy to get into, elegant and beautiful on the outside but behind all the splendour there lies a long and difficult path that the models must travel.
